Livid Looper

These days anyone can compose a piece of music, since there are tools like Livid Looper that help automate the process. This is an application that will generate melodies using repeating musical loops or segments.

It includes eight work stations that allow you to modify your track's sound properties in realtime, or add different special effects. Each station has a small library that can store up to six samples.

Don't worry, you don't have the manually synchronize the different stations. Thanks to automatic beats per minute (BPM) detection, Livid Looper can do it for you. Another interesting feature will divide the loops into a user-specified number of equal parts.

The graphic display of your track is interactive and allows you to make selections. There is also a tool in the lower part of the window that you can use to do fades and other predefined styles. You can even use the program to record your finished track.
